Rochelle, Ill. – Each month, an employee is celebrated at Unity Hospice of Western Illinois. This honor is awarded to an individual who shows a willingness to go above and beyond in their role to ensure each patient, family and community member that receives service from Unity Hospice is given the best care and service possible.
Ken Lawson, Bereavement and Spiritual Care Coordinator, was named Unity Hospice of Western Illinois’ June Employee of the Month. A veteran in providing spiritual care, Ken continues to go above and beyond for patients and their families. He has provided a safe place for those who have suffered a loss to share, learn and heal.
Unity Hospice of Western Illinois hosts a Grief Recovery Group every Saturday in Mt. Morris, Ill. at 9 E. Front Street that will continue through July 31.
