Collinsville, Ill. – On Thursday, June 26, Unity Hospice of Greater St. Louis hosted an open house & ribbon cutting ceremony in honor of its recent move to an expanded location in Collinsville at 1604 Eastport Plaza Drive, Suite 102.
Collinsville Chamber of Commerce Representatives Alene Hill and Wendi Valenti and Township Supervisor Terry Allen were on hand to welcome Unity Hospice to its new location. Also in attendance were notable friends, colleagues, Unity Hospice employees and customers.
After the ribbon cutting, Unity Hospice opened its doors to everyone in attendance. Staff and volunteers showcased the company’s programs and services by offering tours throughout the building. Guests enjoyed a selection of wine donated by Villa Marie Winery of Maryville, Ill., and The Food Network’s Cupcake Wars winner, The Sweet Divine cupcake truck. Complete with great food and even better company, Unity Hospice’s open house was a remarkable event to remember.
“As a hospice company, we visit the facilities and homes in which our patients live,” says Gay Little, area administrator. “We were delighted for the opportunity to invite our customers and neighbors to this meaningful event.
