Collinsville, Ill. – Unity Hospice of Greater St. Louis recently donated school supplies to the Venice Community Unity School District #3 to be used for the 2014-2015 school years. In the weeks leading up to the first day of school, the donated supplies were distributed to students at the board of education’s Annual Back to School Festival.
For this particular project, Unity Hospice employees gathered nearly $200 which purchased 460 pencils, 400 pens, 200 spiral notebooks, 136 two pocket folders, 24 pencil boxes, 20 family-size boxes of Kleenex and 15 Lysol disinfecting wipes.
Each year, Unity Hospice participates in several community service initiatives that positively impact their community.
