In the effort to bring holiday cheer to families in need, Unity Hospice of Greater St. Louis
participates in Hoyleton Ministries Christmas Angels Program
Collinsville, Ill. – Unity Hospice of Greater St. Louis recently partnered with Hoyleton Ministries, of Hoyleton, Ill., to be a part of their annual Christmas Angels program that benefits Puentes de Esperanza, a division of Hoyleton that aims to transform the lives of Latino children and families in Southern Illinois.
This year, Unity Hospice employees purchased over 60 gifts for 30 children of all ages. In the past decade that Unity Hospice has been a proud Hoyleton Christmas Angel, they have contributed over 700 gifts and nearly 1,000 dollars in donations to area families in need. Oftentimes, these may be the only Christmas presents the children will receive.
Hoyleton Ministries is a faith-based organization that has been working to meet the needs of children and families for nearly 20 years throughout Southern Illinois. Their services comprise of behavioral health, child welfare, preventative and residential support as well as the Puentes de Esperanza program, became a subsidiary of Hoyleton Ministries in 2004. Its mission is to transform the lives of Latino youth and families through community based ministries directed at their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
