CHICAGO – Unity Hospice has been recognized as one of the area’s most dynamic and supportive local businesses by the Chicago Tribune in its special “Top Workplaces” issue. The Friday, Nov. 11 special edition of the newspaper identified the Chicago companies chosen for recognition by its employees. All winners were honored during the Top Workplaces 2016 event, held at Solider Field’s exclusive United Club on Thursday, Nov. 10.
The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Companies were measured on key qualities such as company leadership, communication, career opportunities, working environment, managerial skills, pay and benefits.
“Each year, the Chicago Tribune is proud to recognize the companies that are making a real difference in the lives of their employees,” said Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Bruce Dold. “This year’s lineup of progressive-minded businesses reflects those qualities that truly make Chicago the City That Works.”
Unity hospice has been awarded a Top Workplaces honor by the Chicago Tribune for two consecutive years. Of the 125 honored companies in 2016, Unity Hospice was among the nine health care companies on the Top Workplaces list.
