Rochelle, Ill. – Unity Hospice of Western Illinois recently welcomed David Taylor, RN, to its premier hospice team to serve as community relations representative (CRR).
In his role as CRR, Taylor will be responsible for implementing strategic marketing plans and accomplishing marketing goals set forth by the business development team. He will educate local clinicians about the care provided by Unity Hospice, its individualized patient & community programs and how the hospice care team can improve quality of life for patients during a life limiting illness.
Taylor comes to Unity Hospice with supervisory experience in home care and hospice, and over 30 years of nursing experience overall. Additionally, Taylor brings marketing knowledge from his experience working in pharmaceutical sales.
A Pittsburg, Pa., native, Taylor currently lives in Genoa, Ill., with his daughter, sister and two dogs. Outside of work, Taylor is very involved in his daughter’s activities and athletic events. As a testament to his involvement, Taylor officiates three sports – women’s softball from youth league to Division 1 college, high school volleyball as well as both boys and girls high school basketball through the varsity level.
