Rochelle, Ill. – Unity Hospice, a leading hospice and palliative care organization delivering premier care to patients and their families during end-of-life, recently open its doors to the newly renovated office building in Rochelle, Ill., for an open house & ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The open house & ribbon cutting took place on Wednesday, April 18, from 4-6 p.m. and was attended by many prominent members of the community, including City of Rochelle Mayor Chet Olson, attendees on behalf of U.S. Representative Adam Kinzinger, Rochelle Chamber of Commerce members, representatives from the Rochelle City Clerk and local media. The Unity Hospice team was also very appreciative of the support they received from their friends, families, business partners and neighbors, all of whom attended the open house to celebrate this important milestone for the company.

“As we’ve grown our team of professional, compassionate individuals, we needed this expansion so that we have the resources to continue providing the best care for our patients and families,” states Deb Rolf, administrator of Unity Hospice’s office in Rochelle, Ill. “The staff make up the backbone of Unity Hospice and I look forward to seeing how the organization further grows and evolves within these new walls.”

The new office space is located at 915 Caron Road in Rochelle, Ill. The 7,200 square foot building previously housed four office suites. Now, eight months later, the building belongs solely to Unity Hospice and has been completely renovated to accommodate their needs. The staff working from this office serve patients and families in Northern Illinois.

The expansion brings two conference rooms suitable for large gatherings, two communal offices, ten private offices as well as adequate space for a warehouse of medical supplies. In addition, the space is equipped with a modernized entryway and kitchen area.

Those who attended the open house were given a tour of the renovated building as well as an invitation to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Unity Hospice team.

Unity Hospice would like to thank Ralfie’s BBQ and Catering for supplying the food, Turtlebake Cookies and Gifts for providing Unity Hospice-branded desserts, DJ J for providing the music and the Rochelle Chamber of Commerce for helping to facilitate the event.
