Unity Hospice Donates Bicycles to Area Nursing Facilities for Springtime Family Events

Rochelle, Ill. – Unity Hospice of Western Illinois recently gave back to the community by donating six bicycles to area skilled nursing facilities for their springtime celebrations.

The bicycles were given away as prizes for child family members of residents in attendance at various Easter events held at Pleasant View Rehabilitation & Health Care Center of Morrison, Ill., Rock River Gardens of Sterling, Ill., and Sauk Valley Senior Living & Rehabilitation of Rock Falls, Ill.

This donation is representative of Unity Hospice’s initiative to give back. It is ingrained in the hospice company’s mission to offer care, support and education to patients, their families and to the communities in which they serve.
