Unity Hospice provides four levels of care to provide comfort for your loved ones:
- Routine Home Care is care provided by our hospice team in the patient’s residence. This level of care includes customized services for dealing with symptoms related to the patient’s condition.
- Respite Care is offered by our team to provide the patient’s family or caregiver a short period of relief from tending to the ongoing care of the hospice patient. The care may be provided in a participating hospice inpatient unit, participating hospital, skilled nursing facility, or non-skilled nursing facility.
- Continuous Home Care is care provided by our team if the patient experiences a period of crisis and requires eight or more hours a day of skilled clinical nursing care to manage the medical symptoms related to the patient’s condition.
- General Inpatient Care is provided to our patients for pain or symptom management which cannot feasibly be managed in other settings. General inpatient care is a short-term level of care provided in a participating inpatient unit, participating hospital, skilled or non-skilled nursing facility.
