Unity Hospice is a participant of the nationally-recognized Veterans History Project, a program of the American Folklife Center and the U.S. Library of Congress. This program ensures our veterans that their service and sacrifice will be preserved for the nation.
Through this program, Unity Hospice invites our veteran patients as well as veterans in the communities we serve to share their story of military service for inclusion in the Library of Congress and the Veterans History Project website. There, these stories are preserved for future generations to help them better understand American history and the realities of wartime. “I encourage veterans to take the opportunity to record their story of military service for the Veterans History Project through this outreach program of Unity Hospice.” – Bob Patrick, Director of The Veterans History Project.
